24 Hour Relay Walkathon Fundraiser
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling and Camogie Clubs are running a 24 Hour Relay Walkathon Fundraiser. All money raised will go towards the further development of the facilities at the LLG Park.
Starting at 3pm on Friday 15th July teams will walk for one hour each around the walking track. The 24th team will finish the walkathon at 3pm on Saturday 16th.
We will round it all off with a field day event in the park at 4pm on the Saturday. More details on this will follow, but mark it in your diary, it'll be a fun afternoon for all the family.
Our 24 walking teams will be running various fundraisers in the run up to the walkathon event. We would greatly appreciate your support for our teams.
There are loads of wonderful events lined up including car boot sales, quizzes, family fun runs, social nights, kids art classes to name but a few. Keep an eye on social media and on the events calendar here on the website to see what events you and your family would like to support. All the money is going to the same pot.... That's not to say that our teams won't be competitive about who can raise the most!
