Christmas Lights in Collinstown

Collinstown Christmas lights will be switched on this Sunday at 5pm.

Great team effort has gone into getting the village ready for Christmas again this year. We would like to thank a few key people who worked hard to make this happen.

Thank you to Carmel Murray and David Cunningham for organising the Christmas lights for the village again this year.

We were very lucky to be donated a really beautiful tree from a generous local resident.

Thanks to John Kennedy, Kieran Costello, Paddy Dempsey and David Cunningham who put the lights up.

Thanks also to Westmeath County Council who provided funding for the lights again this year as requested by Collinstown Action Group.

Well done all.

Come along on Sunday at 5pm and see the lights being switched on and catch a glimpse of Santa as he drives by. David and Louise would like to invite you to Lough Lene Inn afterwards for a hot chocolate.
