Cleaning up Kilpatrick

24 bags of rubbish in 3.5k.

Yes you read that right. Well done to the Brennan and Costello families who were out litter picking for the last two Sundays and collected a massive 24 bags of rubbish in 3.5k. This is a brilliant achievement but also shouldn't have been necessary. There's a simple solution. Don't dump stuff on the side of the road.

If there are any other families who would like to get involved and clean up the roadside around their area you can register with National Spring Clean, contact Westmeath County Council or contact Collinstown Tidy Towns who will happily lend you some litter pickers.
