Christmas Lights in Collinstown 2022

Collinstown’s Christmas lights are twinkling. The lights were turned on in the village on Friday 9th December. This year we have a lovely tree that was donated by Pat Connell as well as the lights on the tree outside the Lough Lene Inn.

Thank you to David Cunningham, John Kennedy and Martin Griffith for putting the lights on the trees. Thank you to Carmel Murray and David Cunningham for organising the lights again this year. Thank you also to Westmeath County Council for the grant aid towards the cost of the lights and to Collinstown Fore ICA and Collinstown Action Group for their contribution to the running of the lights this year.

I am sure you will all agree that the village looks wonderfully festive again this year.

Merry Christmas.
