Collinstown comes alive for the OsKaRs

Lough Lene Gales are turning 50 this year and as part of the celebrations there will be a Night at the OsKaRs on Friday 3rd May.  This has brought the village to life - the sense of community spirit is fantastic and everyone is doing their bit to help.  The organisers and actors are doing fantastic work and even though they are busy learning lines, talking to themselves as they drive around in the car practising the lines over and over again, they are also focusing on raising money for the development of the LLG pitch.

There is a host of fantastic events on in and around the village in the coming weeks.  A cake sale and coffee morning after Mass each Sunday, raffles, fun runs, children's discos, family events, pub nights, flower arranging, art sales, scrap metal collections, poker classics to name but a few.

The calendar on this website will list each of the events - if you are involved in organising any of the events please check that your one is included on the calendar, if it isn't yet please email collinstownactiongroup@gmail.com or contact Mary Duffy.
