Collinstown/Fore Community Games

Collinstown/Fore Community Games annual fundraising cake sale takes place this weekend after mass on Sunday morning outside Fore and Collinstown. This annual fundraiser is our main source of income for the year and enables us to provide a wide range of activities for the U8 to U16 age groups in our community.

On Bank Holiday Monday @ 3pm in Lough Lene Gaels pitch we will host our annual athletics and field event activities where qualifying to represent Collinstown/Fore at the Westmeath County Finals in June takes place. There are qualifying events for U8 to U16s and tiny tots U6 race is also held on the day. The field events comprise of Long Puck (U12 Boys & U14 Girls) and Ball Throw (U12 Boys & Girls).

As with many small community groups there is a very small number of hard working committee members who keep the show on the road for the year. To run our Annual Athletics and cake sale takes an enormous amount of effort and time so we hope that there is a good turnout this weekend and help from other parents is vital in order to ensure the children get to participate in all events.
