Field Names Project
Next Wednesday evening, 10th July, at 8pm in Collinstown Hall Dr. Aengus Finnegan (lecturer in Irish at University of Limerick) and coordinator of the Westmeath Field Names Project will be in attendance to meet and connect with local people to gather valuable information about field names and features (i.e. forts, little road ways, Irish names) in a hope of preserving and logging this information for future generations.
