Flowers, litter picking and beautiful gardens

In these strange corona virus times Collinstown Tidy Towns and Collinstown Action Group can not organise community clean up days to keep our village looking its best.  We know that a lot of you are picking rubbish while you are out walking and would like to say a big thank you to anyone who is doing that. If you haven't done so yet maybe you will keep an eye out for litter on your next 2k walk and pick what you see.

There is great work going on in the gardens around the village and beyond and it is great to see the painting, planting and pruning taking place.  It is a great way to get fresh air and exercise and helping the area to look lovely.

The flowerbeds around the village are coming into bloom and hopefully we will get out in a few weeks to do some weeding and work around the village. Until then stay safe everyone.
