People around our community have started flying flags at their homes to show support for each other at this difficult time.  The flags are a symbol of hope, support and gratitude.   Support for anyone who is sick or bereaved at this time.  Gratitude for all the frontline workers looking after us. And hope for us all.

If you would like to get involved please fly your Lough Lene Gaels club, Westmeath County, the Irish flag, your own national flag - or indeed any flag you choose.  This is a lovely way to show support for each other and to brighten up the area at this time.

If you would like us to add your flag photos please send them to us.

We also have a Gratitude Gallery here where people are sending in messages of thanks for everyone going above and beyond in the current crisis.
