Get ready for the Virtual Parade

Collinstown Action Group are running a Virtual Parade for St. Patrick's Day as a fundraiser to help us continue our work around the village and surrounding area.

We are inviting everyone to get involved in the #VirtualParadeCollinstown.  Decorate your homes, fly your flags, create artwork then get dressed up in your green, white and gold for St. Patrick's Day and get out and take photos around our lovely area.  Post your photos of your adventures, your flags and your artwork with the #VirtualParadeCollinstown, tag Collinstown Action Group and then donate to our fundraiser.  It's as simple as that.  Check out the Little Free Library in the coming days for some colouring pages and puzzle sheets to get your preparations started.

Check back here on the website, or on our Facebook or Instagram accounts, for updates closer to St. Patrick's Day. In the meantime get your thinking caps on and plan your own St. Patrick's Day adventure.

We will put your money to good use through our various projects around the village.  Collinstown Action Group are the group behind the Collinstown Little Free Library, Collinstown Community Orchards and collinstown.ie website. We work closely with the various groups around the village bringing different groups together on projects and we apply for funding on the villages behalf for both large scale and smaller projects.  We contributed €1000, and helped Lough Lene Gaels with the original funding application, for the path to the pitch.  We have secured funding through the Town and Village Renewal scheme with Westmeath County Council - works to make Collinstown and Age Friendly village will commence soon.

So get ready to take part in the virtual parade and have fun!
