Minding our Orchards for National Tree Week

This year Collinstown Tidy Towns are taking time out during National Tree Week to look after our Community Orchards. We want our trees to fruit so we need to mind them. We removed the grass from around the bottom of the trees and put down some lovely compost from a home composting system. Let's hope we all get to eat the rewards!

We also planted some wildflower seed bombs which were kindly donated by Collinstown Men's Shed.

Thank you to all volunteers.  All work was carried out at a social distance.
