Parish Harvest Thanksgiving

Harvest Thanksgiving.

This year there will be two events as we give thanks to God for the Harvest. The First event is the Tractor run which takes place on Sunday 24 October. The Second event is for families on Sunday 31 October.

Annual Parish Tractor Run

October Bank Holiday Weekend - Sunday 24 October. Beginning at the Abbey House Fore.

Registration from 12 noon.

Departing from The Abbey House Bar, Fore at 2.00pm.

Food, music, raffle on return from run.

Prize for "best dressed Tractor".

On the following Sunday – 31 October

Halloween Pumpkin Walk on the Nancy / Nelly walk around Fore village from 5.00pm – 6.00pm on Sunday October 31st.

Followed with a children’s disco and raffle in the Abbey House Bar, Fore at 6.00pm.

Pumpkins carved by children in Collinstown and Fore National Schools. Donation for walk. Disco and raffle €5 per child and €20 per family.

Proceeds from both events going to St Mary’s N.S Collinstown, St Feichin’s N.S Fore and the Collinstown+Fore Church Restoration Fund.
