Planting with little helpers

The storm died down for our clean up this afternoon.  Today we swept the path along the Mullingar road and cleared some ivy from the wall. We weeded the flower bed at the Collinstown sign on the Delvin Road.  Our team of little helpers worked with us to plant some flowers in the pots at the pump and in the flower bed at the corner as you turn onto the Mullingar road.  We found some basil which we have planted in the herb pot outside the school.  A small group this afternoon but productive none the less.

Thank you to Martin Griffith and girls, Grainne Flannery and her little lady and Mary and Damian Duffy and girls for all the work this morning. We really enjoyed our ice cram when we finished up.  Collinstown Tidy Towns and Collinstown Action Group will be out again next month on Saturday morning 25th May.
