Swap Shop at Toddler Group

Next Monday, 13th January we will be hosting our first baby/children’s clothes swap shop.  This idea came about during our One Small Change Campaign discussions last year and is being encouraged by the Collinstown Tidy Towns group.

This is a simple idea, open to anyone attending toddler group this Monday. We meet from 10.30 to 12.30 in Collinstown Hall. As normal there is a €3 charge per family group for the morning session. There will be tea/coffee and snacks for the kids. We will run the swap shop for the duration of the session in between minding the kids and the usual catching up and chatting.

We ask that all items brought are clean and in good condition. This swap shop is limited to children's clothes and shoes.

Swapping clothes is a brilliant way to cut down on the amount of clothes being purchased, which is good for the environment and for the pocket.  Hopefully all items brought to the session will find a new home among the members of the group, however, should there be any left after the event they will be donated to a local charity.
