Twinkling Lights in Collinstown

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The Christmas Lights are on in Collinstown!

We can't come together as a community this year to turn on the Christmas lights, so instead we decided to turn the lights on a few days early and spread some festive cheer around the village.

Well done to David Cunningham, Martin Griffith, Martin Kelly, Noel Smith, Paddy Dempsey and John Kennedy who came together this morning to put the lights on the trees around the village square and on the Christmas tree in the village.

Thank you to Carmel Murray in Daybreak who sponsored the Christmas tree this year and will be lighting up the tree for us all for the next few weeks.  Thank you to David Cunningham who will be lighting up the big tree in the centre of the village and to the Masterson and O'Donnell families who kindly allow us to light up the other trees from their homes. Thank you also to Collinstown Fore Senior Citizens Committee for their kind donation, to everyone who has supported the collection for the lights in Daybreak.  Thank you in advance to Westmeath County Council for funding we have received over the past few years and for any support we may get this year.
