Youth’s International Fly Fishing Competition

Lough Lene has been selected to host the Youth’s International Fly Fishing Competition. The competing countries taking part are Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland.

The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday 27th July before the competition starts at 10am.  All the teams will be in their uniforms, and will be escorted by a piper in full tartan regalia to their selected boat at ‘The Cut’.

The competition starts at 10.00am and finishes at 5.00pm.

All are welcome to come to the opening ceremony.
