Text Alert for Collinstown Fore Drumcree

Collinstown Fore Drumcree Community Alert, with the support of Collinstown Action Group, are working together to setup a Text Alert Service. This service will cover all houses in the Collinstown + Fore Parish area and is run in conjunction with Muntir na Tire and An Garda Siochana.  The notifications received through this service will come from An Garda Siochana. 

Information Evening

There will be an information evening in Collinstown Hall on Wednesday 28th August from 7 - 9pm. We would like to encourage someone from every household to attend this meeting and sign up for this service.  The information evening will have speakers from Muintir na Tire, An Garda Siochana, Helplink South (personal alarms) and The Care and Repair Programme.  There will also be Information Stands from these groups and they will be available to answer any questions you may have in relation to your safety. 

Registration for Text Alert Service

Registration for the Text Alert Service will take place at the information night on Wednesday 28th August from 7 - 9pm in Collinstown Hall.   To be part of this Text Alert Service you need to sign up via the Text Alert Application Form and pay the minimum €20 fee for the first years service.  This fee covers up to two numbers from one household and access to the Be Alert App for those who wish to use the online service.

Registration for this service will preferably be done at the information night.  If you can not make the meeting please download the application form here.  Please give the completed form, along with the fee, in an envelope, to a neighbour to bring to the meeting.  Alternatively the registration form can be collected at the meeting and returned to any committee member in an envelope, along with the €20 fee, within two weeks of this meeting.  Registration will then be closed but will reopen next year.  Once registration is closed the service will be set up within two weeks and all members will begin to receive notifications.
